How long did you have him for? A lot of rescues will be scared of guys for a while. They eventually learn to trust you.

Couple of days, the thing was she’d run in circles and pee. This was the first time my mom had been willing to get a dog and this one wasn’t going to work. She might have come around, but it was going to take a long time.

That sucks as it only takes like a week for most dogs. A dog that nervous was probably being beaten, and was probably made an even bigger nervous wreck by going from shelter, to a home, and back to a shelter. Dogs like that usually end up being the most obedient because they realize what they have in a loving home.
